That would be with the proper 300TDI rover engine. You won't (or you would be ridiculously lucky if you did) find a rover diesel at a junk yard. Lot's of write ups here on just search for 300TDI conversions.

Hi guys. soon i will be removing my mates 300 tdi engine to replace the clutch and stuff but noticed the engine doesn't have any engine lifting points fitted i have looked at mine and that doesn't have any either. now when i did my s11a swb to 200 tdi the 200 tdi had lifting points and i used a piece of chain to lift the engine with on my hoist.
I would check it is the turbo and not the stem seals. If it is the stems, then have the head reconned and then refit it, leaving the rest of the engine well enough alone. A standard 300tdi in either auto or manual form is fine for pretty much anything. As said the engine is on 80k, as it had a recon engine at 120k.
